Frequently Asked Questions

1. What percentage of mpg increase can I expect to get with the hydrogen on demand device?

25% increase of mpg is the targeted result. Some engines obtain better gains, others less.

Results vary mainly due to emission control devices.

2. How can I be sure if my vehicle(s) will get a gain in MPG?

If your engine type has been tested, we can tell you what results we have had and will guarantee those results.

If you have a fleet of trucks with an engine that has not been tested, we will install our unit on one of your trucks at our initial expense. You must have a reliable mpg recording for the vehicle for comparison. If you have mechanics that care for your fleet, we can involve them in the installation and testing.

3. Will the hydrogen gas harm the engine in any way?

No. The added hydrogen gas actually helps the engine run cleaner. The hydrogen helps fully combust the hydrocarbon fuel, leaving no carbon deposits behind.

Top

4. Does the hydrogen make the engine run hotter or cooler?

It has been found that the engine runs cooler. Diesels engines have been reported to have dropped in temperature by 10 degrees.

5. How are the emissions effected by the hydrogen fuel?

Emissions are greatly reduced. Hydrocarbon (HC) readings drops to near 0. Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) and Carbon Monoxide also drop to near 0. This can be easily verified on any exhaust gas analyzer.

6. Does using a hydrogen generator void the warranty on my vehicles.

No. The following law applies:

The Magnuson Moss Warranty Act:

US Code - Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312 Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle. If your vehicle manufacturer fails to honor emission/warranty claims, contact the EPA at (202) 260-2080 or www.epa.gov. If federal warranty protection is denied, contact the FTC at (202) 326-3128 or www.ftc.gov.

7. How does hydrogen effect the horsepower and torque of the engine?

In test after test it has been shown that the use of Hydrogen as a fractional fuel, increases the horsepower and torque of all engine types. In manual transmission equipped vehicles it has been found that gear changing can be done at lower RPMs. In a four cylinder engine, the driver normally shifted at 3,000 RPMs (which dropped the RPMs to 2,000). After installing the fractional hydrogen fuel, he found he could shift as low as 2500 RPMs. The torque of the engine was sufficient to go as low as 1500 RPMs without any difficulty. The car also no longer slowed down while climbing overpasses.

8. Is it safe?

HHO is an explosive gas, like any fuel and so must be treated as such. However, unlike gasoline, in its liquid form (water) there is no danger. A series of bubblers exists to prevent flash back into the generating system.

9. What if I’m in a freeze zone?

You can replace the water with blue -20°F Windshield Washer Fluid. Use this mixture, during the winter, instead of plain distilled water.

Top

10. Can I use any kind of water?

No. You must only use distilled water. All water carries minerals, metals, and other items that can contaminate the steel plates in the hydrogen generator. So, just like you would only add distilled water to a battery, so must you keep a supply of distilled water available for you hydrogen generator. Depending on you driving patterns, you will likely use less than ½ gallon per month. Keep a container of distilled water in your trunk (unless your in a freeze zone). There are some brands of distilled water, such as Sweetbay which become very foamy during use. So avoid any brands that turns the water to foam.

11. Are there any other benefits from using this device?

The use of this device qualifies you for a tax exemption:

For both Corporate and Personal Use

Following are excerpts from IRS Publication 535 viewable at

http://www.irs.gov/publications/p535/ch12.html#d0e10094.

You are allowed a deduction for the cost of clean-fuel vehicle property and clean-fuel vehicle refueling property you place in service during the tax year.

Clean-burning fuels. The following are clean-burning fuels.

1. Natural gas.
2. Liquefied natural gas.
3. Liquefied petroleum gas.
4. Hydrogen.
5. Electricity.
6. Any other fuel that is at least 85% alcohol (any kind) or ether.

Deduction for Clean-Fuel Vehicle Property

The deduction for this property may be claimed regardless of whether the property is used in a trade or business.

Clean-fuel vehicle property.

Clean-fuel vehicle property is either of the following kinds of property.

Any property installed on a motor vehicle (including installation costs) to enable it to be propelled by a clean-burning fuel

a. The property is an engine (or modification of an engine) that can use a cleanburning fuel, or
b. The property is used to store or deliver that fuel to the engine or to exhaust gases from the combustion of that fuel.

For vehicles that may be propelled by both a clean-burning fuel and any other fuel, your deduction is generally the additional cost of permitting the use of the cleanburning fuel.

Fractional Hydrogen

Bermingham University Study

Demonstrated the advantages of fractional addition of hydrogen to internal combustion engines yielded benefits in improved combustion stability and reduced nitrogen oxides and hydrocarbon emissions.

University of Cassino HYPOTHESIS Conference agreed.

Roy MacAlister, PE wrote:

Relatively fractional amounts of hydrogen can dramatically increase horsepower and reduce exhaust emissions.

Our Mission

Our purpose is to bring you the highest quality devices to convert water to fuel. We want you to keep the car you need, go where you want and do so knowing you are reducing gasoline use, improving the environment and saving money in the process.

Escalating gas prices, rising pollution levels around the world, increasing political tensions are the down side of the oil industry. Every new age is born out of a better, more effective way to increase man's survival. The Oil Age is not over, but the Hydrogen Age is on the threshold.

Our Technical Director

Ed Grimm is a certified NASA Senior Aerospace Technician. He has been working in the field of creating usable energy from water since early 1990 when he had a car running on water. We are proud to have Ed leading the way in providing the highest quality water converting devices on the market.
