The Path of Least Resistance

 Electricity ALWAYS take the path of least resistance.

If the six cell unit shown below, is immersed in an electrolyte solution, the electricity will travel the easiest path from Negative to Positive, which is through the electrolyte, not through the neutral plates.

 ENERGY IS MAINLY USED TO HEAT WATER    EFFICIENT PRODUCTION  OF HHO OCCURS

Also notice that within each cell of the Dry Cell Generator, the electricity takes the path of least resistance. More HHO is produced in the area of the terminals and less near the edges. 

Why than do most dry cell designs violate this principle?
